Hi, I am Danielle
Hi, I’m Danielle Turner, but most people call me Dani. I’m a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner specializing in Obstetrics and Gynecology and the founder of Nursing Trax & Beyond. My journey into nursing has been filled with challenges, setbacks, and perseverance—including failing out of a nursing program before eventually achieving my dream.
Through determination, I became a Licensed Vocational Nurse, later earning my BSN, a master’s degree in Nursing Administration, and ultimately becoming a Nurse Practitioner. As a single mother from Houston, Texas, I understand the challenges many aspiring nurses face while pursuing their goals. I created Nursing Trax & Beyond to provide guidance, encouragement, and real insight for those pursuing a nursing career or advancing their degree. My goal is to help you navigate your path with clarity, confidence, and the support you deserve.
Professional Experience
My professional experience spans a wide range of healthcare specialties, providing me with a comprehensive understanding of patient care and the nursing profession. Throughout my career, I have worked in nursing homes, medical-surgical units, dermatology, orthopedics, pain management, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, and emergency telephone triage.
I have also gained experience in occupational health, reconstructive surgery, infectious disease, primary care, podiatry, and nursing management. These diverse experiences have shaped my perspective and allow me to provide well-rounded guidance to individuals pursuing or advancing a career in nursing.

Are we able to meet in person for my session?
-Yes. If you prefer in person vs virtual, I am currently able to meet at 1334 Brittmoore Rd Suite 1000B, Houston, TX 77043
-For virtual appointments, a link will be sent to you once you schedule.
Am I able to reschedule?
-You will have the opportunity to reschedule 48 hours before the appointment, as emergencies do arise. Please click "reschedule" on the confirmation email sent to you when you completed the payment and scheduling process.
Am I able to bring a spouse/parent?
-A parent or partner may attend for support.
Are children allowed?
-To have your full, undivided attention, children are not allowed.
Are you able to do a private group session for 6 individuals or more?

Are you able to be a guest speaker at my school?

How will I know the date for High School night?
-It will be announced on our website and social media page
